Les délégués de quartier de la commune de Jaxaay-Parcelles-Niakoul Rab ont tenu un assemblée générale extraordinaire, dimanche 28 avril, à Jaxaay. Au cours de cette réunion, ils ont littéralement tiré à boulets rouges sur le maire de la commune. A cause de son incompétence, ont-ils dit, les populations sont confrontées à de multiples maux : insécurité, absence d’infrastructure….Ils appellent le président Macky Sall, pour qui ils ont « largement voté lors de la présidentielle », à trouver des solutions à leurs problèmes.
